Hi Everyone today Me and my class went inside a huge truck. In the truck, we were given a lot of information about staying safe near big trucks. And now I'm here to tell you about truck safety and how to keep you safe. And others as well. Anyway, I'm not talking about any old rules I'm talking about, How to safely pass a truck. Here are some friendly tips and advice for passing safely.
Before starting to pass a truck, think twice! You need a lot of space to pass safely. Behind every bend, there could be another car or truck.
- Don't pass until you can clearly see enough straight & clear lane to pass through.
- Because of their heavy load, it takes time for them to slow down or stop.
- Trucks have a lot of mirrors and full beam, lights can temporarily blind other drivers.
